St. John’s Church is the home of the second Virginia Convention where Patrick Henry, Virginia’s first elected Governor, gave his famous “Give me Liberty or Give me Death” speech in 1775.  Tours are available at https://www.historicstjohnschurch.org/

I have been to over 30 of the reenactments over the last 20 years and highly recommend every American attend this event. It\'s wonderful.
