Our Story
ShopRVA® is Richmond Virginia's official online business directory to promote local businesses to residents, tourists and visitors in #RVA. ShopRVA® officially launched in the fourth quarter of 2024 and founded by Robert Davenport.
Robert created the idea when visiting Singapore in 2013 and thought it would be great to have one website for locals and tourists to
find everything Singapore had to offer from restaurants, and spas, to veterinarians and auto
dealers.
The ShopRVA® concept took over 10 years to fine tune and create. Robert has an online advertising and
technical background that allowed the creation and production of ShopRVA®.
We hope all of our
business partners, local users and tourists enjoy ShopRVA® as much as we did creating it.
