Our Story
ShopRVA® is Richmond Virginia’s new official online business directory for local businesses to promote themselves to residents, tourists and visitors shopping in the #RVA / Tri-Cities region. ShopRVA® officially launched on February 3, 2025 and was founded by Robert Davenport.
Robert created the idea while visiting Singapore in 2013 and thought it would be great to have one website where locals, tourists and visitors could access and use to find everything Singapore had to offer from Auto Dealers to Zoos and everything in between.
The ShopRVA® concept took over 10 years to fine tune and create. Robert has an online advertising and technical background that allowed the creation and production of ShopRVA®.
We hope all of our business partners, local users and tourists enjoy ShopRVA® as much as we did creating it.
