FAQ

How do I sign my business up to be listed on ShopRVA®?  Click Here or go to upper right corner, select either Sign In or Add Listing.  Look for “Don’t have an account” to create an account, or click sign in.  Once we have verified your account with an email confirmation, you are able to add a Free or Featured Listing.

How much does it cost to create a business listing?  There are two types of listings.  Free and Featured.  Featured has more options available such as video, images, tags and an exclusive featured listing.  It is recommended to have a featured listing so your business can show its products or services.

How do I find a specific business or organization?  Under EAT, SHOP or PLAY on the Home page, choose which category fits your request.  You’ll see all of the participating businesses or organizations.  

What are your terms and conditions?  Go to Terms and Conditions in the main header or click on the ShopRVA® logo

How do I create and submit a paid daily offer to help promote my business and attract more customers?  Click Here to go to the “Offer Submission” link located on the header (top) to begin filling out the form.  Select how many days the banner ad will run, then pay with the appropriate payment method listed.  Hit Submit.

Can I get online immediate help?  No, you need to contact us at ask@shoprva.com and we will get back to your request as soon as possible.  This is an online service only.

What is the cost to use ShopRVA®?  Nothing.  It is a free service for consumers.

How do I use the site?  Click on either EAT, SHOP or PLAY to find what you are looking for.  

How do I sign up for an account?  In the upper righthand corner, go to sign in and create an account.  Enter a user id, password and email address then hit submit on the righthand side.    Now you’re a member of the community.  EAT, SHOP and PLAY in RVA!

Is ShopRVA® free?  It is for consumers.  Businesses can purchase a free listing that has limited capability.  Daily Deals are charged per specific listings.

Are there Daily Deal Offers?  Yes based on availability.

Should I sign up for ShoprRVA® on my phone or PC?  It is recommended you use a PC as most images and business information is on the business PC.  As a consumer, it is easy to sign up with your phone.

How do I access my business listing for edits?  After signing in, at the top right of the screen is your company logo next to the +listing red button.  Click on your logo, bring up the drop down menu, select my listing.

How do I get all of my social media outlets loaded into my profile?  Once you have logged in to ShopRVA®, scroll down to the Social Profile section, click on the drop down menu to choose which social medium you wish to add.  Type in the URL, then scroll down to hit SAVE. 

Is it possible to get ShopRVA® to help me add my listing?  Yes with a fee of $50.00.  However, you will need to collect and provide the information for your hours of operation, photography, etc. for us to add to your listing.

What is a job listing cost on ShopRVA®?  Temporarily, it is free to list a job on our platform. 

How long will it take for my Give-Away Contest to be in force and promoted on the ShopRVA® social media platforms?  It may take as long as 2-3 weeks to complete depending on the number of new sign-ups and give-aways being requested.  It is our goal to give each business owner’s contest ample time and maximum exposure.
