About Poe Museum
1914 East Main Street, Richmond, VA
A garden oasis in Historic Downtown Richmond, the Poe Museum’s Enchanted Garden makes for a small event venue that is absolutely poetic!
Edgar Allan Poe considered gardens to be one of the highest art forms. Inspired by his poem “To One in Paradise,” the Museum’s Enchanted Garden was created in 1922 to pay tribute to this passion. The Gardens at the Poe Museum are the convergence of many aspects of the history and culture of Richmond. The landscape captures the romance and mystery of Poe’s work while also paying homage to the tradition of gardening.
This beautiful, intimate space is ideal for small weddings, parties and business gatherings of 75 people or less.
